Social distancing during the holiday season is going to be challenging, especially for older adults, many of whom are already combating loneliness and depression. Social isolation is a public health crisis, and the United Health Foundation and AARP Foundation are collaborating to address it among seniors during the COVID-19 pandemic. This campaign raises awareness for AARP Foundation’s Connect2Affect digital platform, which is designed to reduce social isolation among older adults and promote increased social connections.
AARP Foundation works to end senior poverty by helping vulnerable older adults build economic opportunity and social connections. As AARP’s charitable affiliate, they serve AARP members and nonmembers alike. Bolstered by vigorous legal advocacy, they spark bold, innovative solutions that foster resilience, strengthen communities and restore hope.
This campaign is sponsored by the Consumer Technology Association Foundation (CTA Foundation).
