It’s an understatement to say that 2020 is a critical year for our democracy and for each of us. In response, women are rising, organizing, working together, and preparing to get out the vote in unprecedented ways.
This PSA encourages women from diverse backgrounds to take our power to the polls and shape our future.
Amplifier and Times Square Arts are proud to announce that Vote Your Future, an urgent new citywide campaign that directs voters to important voting and civic resources in the lead up to Election Day, November 3.
Now on view in Times Square and throughout New York, the Vote Your Future artworks feature QR codes for vote.org, where they can look up polling locations, find resources to request absentee ballots and vote by mail, volunteer to be a poll worker, fill out a 2020 census questionnaire, and access additional information about getting involved in the electoral process. Vote Your Future features nine uplifting artworks commissioned by Amplifier by the following artists: Celeste Beyers, Gillian Dreher, Brooke Fischer, Shannon Finnegan, Kayla Jones, Laci Jordan, Never Made, Amanda Phingbodhipakkiya, and Carolyn Suzuki. This series of engaging, inclusive, and critical messages to the public will feature text in English, Spanish, and Mandarin.
