All New Yorkers can apply to receive their absentee ballot online and vote by mail. Click here to request your ballot today. Due to the ongoing pandemic, all voters can select “temporary illness” as “cause” on the absentee ballot application as a valid reason. Request your ballot online, by phone, or by mail by October 27. Even if you request an absentee ballot, you are still eligible to vote in person during the early voting period (October 24 to November 1) or on election day (November 3).

VoteEarlyNY is proudly pro-voter. They are a non-partisan, nonprofit (501(c)(3)) organization created by voting rights advocates to ensure that much-needed reforms to New York’s Election Law are implemented responsibly, in the spirit with which they were enacted, and made accessible to all New York voters.
Along with their LetNYVote Coalition partners, VoteEarlyNY provides rights-based civic education and is working to build a culture of Early Voting among the public that empowers communities, reducing their dependence on partisan campaigns and administrators for basic information about our civil rights.
